End of Chapter 6 !??? Why have I never spotted this before !? I love the other one with humans in (forget title), where they had to smoke to kill parasites, or whatever...O.K. got some reading to do ! B-)

The other comic you're thinking of is The Stormrunners. Now sadly finished, but the entire archive is still online.

The Old Scribe

Big Momma's a square shooter and Cobb's been a (reasonably) good sport about it all. Those piratical Bugs are about to discover they've messed around with the wrong people this time.

The Old Scribe- Oh there's a big storm about to start, just as soon as the rest of the party goers arrive....

p.s. I was up to the pages 14-16 set, and saw the "no comments on the duck yet" comment. I never recovered after its last death/re-incarnation.Comments became as rare as hen's teeth....anyway, thanx for the Stormrunners remind, on with my read...
p.p.s. Tannhauser Gate and C-Beams, eh? Only my fave love story/SF film ever!
and a bit l8r.. p- er do you add more 'p's or more 's's now...? Never mind. All caught up. More on comments :- in a discussion elsewhere, someone said there has been -and will be- a decline in comments,as so many people now read on their I-pads and assorted new-fangled stuff and either can't, or can't be arsed to. Good theory? I found it comforting anyway B-)

Bear- Yeah, the Duck's loosing people left and right now, and whoever is running it obviously doesn't give a shit. Yay! Yeah, I just had to give a bow to that idea!

Comments may go the way of the DODO, but at least there's a small group of you that still make the effort, and it is very much appreciated! Thanks.

Ed.

Well, one question about the dance, didn't occur to me until some days later when I was randomly thinking about it: What's the original purpose of this kind of dance? Here is was danced by two sisters, one wanted the male (Cobb in this case) as a mating partner and it seems that she had to prove being worthy or such, ar least this would make sense to me.

But I got the impresion that dance is normally done by a male and a female and what's the idea then? Because I assume that more often than not, both partners want to mate each other, but what would be the point of winning or loosing then?
