Sorry about updating so late, been very busy with dragons, laser weapons, contests, book covers...........And a meat sack that's near its expiration date. Anybody know a good mad scientist that can flop my head fat into a drone.......or hell, I'll settle for a popup toaster......

The Old Scribe

Blast the damn bugs from orbit? Where's the fun in that? Besides, there'd be no opportunity to get some tasty bug legs for a snack, would there?

Fun Fact: The tripod is the most stable of constructs. It's most resistant to both downward and horizontal forces and movements about the horizontal axis. The positioning of the three legs from the vertical center allows the tripod better leverage for resisting lateral forces.(Hat Tip: Wikipedia)

Placing your head on one is optional, of course.

The Old Scribe- LOL, wait until you see the next page!(Stop reading my mind....)

And on a serious note, thank you for a very interesting fact, which I was ignorant of!

Ed.

No mind reading needed, "where's the fun in that?" would have been my answer, too, it's quite obvious.

Edit: About tripods, they are the most stable construction for standing alright, but they have at least one leg too few for moving. That's probably why insects prefer 6 legs: It's like having 2 tripods at your disposal :) (Typo corrected 3 months later)
